Quilt Festival

Favorite quilt so far.

"Pink and Black Dresses"

This was a block of the month embroidery from Bobbysocks Quilt Co. a few years ago. I loved the dress design and I love the color pink. It took me two years to finish the embroidery and then another year to decide on how to set it. A friend Gail did the quilting and the quilting is fabulous. I have four daughters and two daughter-in -laws and they all say this is quilt they want when I die. Well I'm not going anywhere except to the fabric store for more fabric.

  2. Oh my! Your quilt is beautiful. I love the color combination. I am kind of new to the blog world too. It has been so much fun to find other quilters/bloggers via this virtual quilt festival.

  4. I have the perfect plan, so as not to create feelings of ill-will between the sisters and sisters-in-law, you could give it to me when you meet your untimely demise and I'll let them visit it whenever they want. It really is very, VERY cute!

  5. I'm still working on it 2 years later. Thanks for making me feel not so bad at my lack of time I have for projects. Thanks for showing this quilt to me 2 years ago when I needed a lifting up. IT WORKED! I will be coming to you for suggestions when I'm done with the embroidery.
