"Get It Done In Two Thousand One One"

What do you get when you combine 12 Dresden Plate Blocks,

With 13 double nine patch blocks?

You get this quilt that has taken me a long time to decide how finish,   this "Dresden 9 patch Quilt".
I love the way it turned out!
This is one of those quilts I have had on the back burner. And this is the year to finish some of those projects

"Get It Done".

These are next...

Quilting at the Arnett Reunion

Between Christmas and New Years the Arnett's had a family reunion. Part of the three day reunion included our 1st Arnett Quilting Bee.
Emily was in charge and did a fabulous job.  We were so excited so many were interested in quilting.
30 of us brought 1 3/8 yard piece of Amy Butler fabric. We made 5 inch squares out of the fabric and ended up with a stack of 78 of all the fabrics. Now for the challenge. We each make our own quilt whatever pattern we want.  We call it our Reunion Quilt. We will post them on our Arnett Quilting Bee blog  and for sure "Show and Tell" them at our next family reunion.

Part of the Bee included a "Show and Tell" This is a quilt Donna is working on and  those squares are 1 inch.
