Projects in the Works

I have been working on "Quilts With A Spin in 2010"
It has taken me a while to get the hang of it.
I am on block 3 of 9.

Another project, a quilt for my bedroom. I am making it up as I go.
 Not always a good idea.

Sister's Visit

Donna and Max
Sister Donna came to Mesa to help peel and pit dates for the Date Candy we make.
Max helped us find some great dates.

We also worked on a picture project.
We both know just enough about the computer to be dangerous

What we didn't do any of was Quilt!
Donna did bring this quilt she had been working on and Peg and I had to have a picture

Borders and Binding

Projects in June and July

New Project!

My friend Donna made some dolls for her Granddaughters and they were so so cute.

I ordered the pattern and just found tea-dyed muslin and started the project.

I am real good at starting projects, I just need to finish them.

I did get some hexagons finished while traveling

Nine so far...

SERVE GLADY

Great words to live by.

After 50+ years I finally framed this project I made when I was 10 or 11.

Why did I pick those colors?

The granddaughters wanted to make hair bows for the new babies in the family.

This is the cute "big"baby Alli.

working on the bows

Sister Peg taught us how to make this Craft Apron

Redwork I have been working on for a long time ready to frame.

Tate's Graduation Quillow!!!

Cute Idea

Two of my daughters had babies this past Saturday and I have spent a lot of time in and out of the Hospital. This is what you pass on the way to both of the girls rooms.

These cute 12 inch quilt blocks quilted, bound and then framed.

"A Few Of My Favorite Things" finished

I started this Redwork in 2005.

It was a BOM from Bobby Sock Quilt Co.

I loved the designs and these are really

"Most of My Favorite Things"

I took it with me everywhere I went. I stitched on Vacations, Dr. Offices, Watching

Grand kids sports, Sunday night when the kids come to visit.

I finally finished all 12 blocks and then the job of setting the quilt.

I didn't want to do the traditional shape and I had to find a block that would be the size of the Redwork.

I had some red triangles left from another project and I made it work for the border.

I had Kit machine quilt it.

I have 5 words for this quilt.

Love, Love, Love, Love it!!!!!
